Propaganda is Namibia’s premier props and costume rental, developed in close collaboration with the Namibia Film Commission (FNC), Filmmakers Association of Namibia (FAN) and the Creative Industry Institute Africa (CIIA). 

The name "propaganda" comes from the combing of words Prop and Onganda, which means house or home in Otjiherero.
 

A dedicated props and costume warehouse is essential for bringing Namibia’s stories to life. Props and costumes allow creatives to authentically tell historical, traditional, and ancestral stories, visually representing the country’s rich cultural heritage while supporting the growth of creative infrastructure.
 

To expand our collection, we are actively seeking more props and items, and we are also working to collect data on knowledge keepers who can craft indigenous and traditional items. By connecting with these artisans and cultural experts, Propaganda preserves authentic practices while enabling high-quality storytelling across Namibia’s creative industries.

Through Propaganda, we aim to empower creatives, encourage collaboration, and strengthen Namibia’s reputation as a center of innovative, professional, and world-class creative production. At the same time, we are committed to preserving and promoting indigenous knowledge by connecting with cultural knowledge keepers who craft traditional and ancestral items, ensuring that Namibia’s heritage continues to inspire and inform creative storytelling..
